These are the lunch pail pictures, I promised. Very easy and let me know if you are interested in these as a class. I completed these very quickly on Christmas eve. The girls keep their Polly Pocket stuff in them!
Just wanted to remind you to notify me if you want to sign up for a class, remember I only have room for 15 or 16. I really would like to minimize having too many extra kits in 2006. I'll still try to have a few extra's incase anyone wants to purchase an additional kit.
Edited to add the pictures! This is a pic of a "sample" valentine tin. The paper will be the same but the embellishments will differ. This is one of the rare classes where I will ask you to bring about 10 to 15 pictures. You will want your subjects to be relatively smaller in the picture. The theme of the tin is: I (heart), So for example, mine is: I love my kids, my boxers, my sister, my marriage, my wee diva, Callie's freckles, Cole's love of cars, new baby Grace, my neice Kady,my nephews, etc. The daisy is the cover of the daisy days album, there will probably be pink, red and white daisies to choose from.
So the first two samples are almost done...I'll try to get a pic up by thursday. The altered tin is very cute, I'll just say, KI Kiss Me line which is 2 shades of pink, black and red ! It looks like it should be called "My Funky Valentine!" It's AWESOME! The Daisy album is also SO cool! Matt and I bought a special tool so we can make the back cover out of the mdf like we have with most of the class albums, except it's circular which is very hot right now. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to comment here and you can also get yourself on the class list too!
I've got the COOLEST idea for an upcoming class! The front of the little circular album is a huge Gerber daisy and you flip it open and it's a mini book!!! How cool will this be? I can't wait, I'll post pics as soon as I finish the sample!
I wanted to let everyone know about the classes that are coming up in the near future. I don't have all the dates set but I have a few tentative ones and also some ideas for upcoming projects. I've got so many exciting ideas for 2006! I can't wait to share them with everyone. I'd love your feedback on some of the ideas, sometimes I get a little "out there" as you've probably already realized! :-)
The February 1 class will be a mini tin class. We will be altering a mini candy tin into a little album. These are just the cutest things! It will have a Valentine kind of theme and I'm thinking if you let me know beforehand I may let you choose brights (shades of pink and and candy pink) or rich (red and black). I may also do a love theme fridge frame magnet. These were VERY popular sellers at Christmas and I just MAY share the technique with you ;-) . I will probably also have a class February 8, a mini Love album, but I want to make sure there is enough interest. I want this one to be on the funky side so think KI memories, my favorite company. So it will be clean and simple KI with a bit of Whimsy Works funk just for fun!I almost forgot, at the end of February, I'll be doing a mini book that will have a pet, girl or boy theme. You'll pick your theme and I'll make the kit accordingly. Only thing is, if you sign up for this class, PLEASE attend because I'll basically be making that kit for YOU. So I beg you please actually show up if you sign up for this class. :-) Thanks!
One of my new years resolutions is to get this years Christmas pics SCRAPPED and in a book. I'll be doing one more mini book with a holiday theme (yeah, I'm so OVER Christmas but won't it feel so GOOOOD to get that done?). If you want to join me, let me know!
The upcoming cool stuff you ask? How about a monogramed 3-D letter? They are the perfect gift! Altered metal lunch box? My girls have a super cute one with their initials on them that they keep their Polly Pocket stuff in. You could also do an art theme, and fill with sketch pads and activity pad, crayons and stuff to keep in the car for those trips to restaurants that never seem to have crayons. Or how about a train theme or cars for the little men in your life, or red and blue for spiderman fans. An animal theme for those little Zoo lovers! Gosh, it's ENDLESS! I'll try to get pics of the girls boxes loaded on here for you to see. Altered notebooks are another thing that's great to make for a gift. My mind is racing but I don't want to share all my secrets just yet...
http://nsalive.comI'm trying to get this link <------- over there --->in the links! I hate when I can't figure something out. This is Matt's band, check it out if you have a minute.
My First Post!!! I've now joined the land of the blogger! Yee Haa! Okay, I figured this would be a handy tool for my little paper craft company and the classes. I can now direct people here and post upcoming projects etc. This should be sooooo cool!
So leave me a comment, let me know what you think. I hope to fill in some of that stuff over there on the right ------->
My name is Robyn and I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 17 years. We have sometimes wonderful and delightful, sometimes hair pulling 14 year old girl/boy twins and a sassy little 8 year old girl who is surely going to be our early demise. Before my spine decided to get wonky I had my own little photography thing going at www.whimages.com Now, I still love photography but it's at a different pace. I have a zillion passions because I don't usually do something halfway unless it's putting away laundry or cleaning out the fridge. I have an endless list of things I LOVE including: obviously my family,DOGS, photography, looking for the perfect vintage find, baking, cooking, cleaning(TOTALLY just KIDDING)animals, fabric softener(really), and it goes on and on... I'm very random and if you know me in person you KNOW that and if you read my blog you'll figure that very quickly! :-) contact me here: robynlbedsaul@gmail.com
